Maple Glazed Pork Chops
 
 
Ingredients
  • 4 pork chops about 8 oz. each
  • 2 T peanut oil
  • 6 T Real Maple Syrup
  • 4 T apple cider vinegar
  • 3 T Dijon mustard
  • ¼ t dried thyme
  • ¼ t Saigon cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Thoroughly dry the chops and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat until the oil begins to smoke
  3. Sear the chops on the first side for 5 minutes
  4. Turn and reduce heat to medium
  5. Cook for 5 -10 minutes on the second side until done.
  6. While chops finish mix syrup, cider vinegar, Dijon, thyme and cinnamon well
  7. Move chops from pan to plate and cover with foil
  8. Add syrup mixture to pan and reduce heat to simmer
  9. Cook syrup stirring constantly and loosening any fond that has developed from cooking the chops.
  10. Return chops and any juices to the pan and coat
