Cheesy Corn Bake
- 4 T Butter
- 4 T AP Flour
- ⅛ t Garlic Powder
- 1 C whole Milk
- 6 oz. Sharp white Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- 3 oz. Cream Cheese (cubed)
- 30 oz. Whole Kernel Corn (thawed)
- 3 oz. Diced Ham
- 3 oz. Green Chile ( or poblano peppers) fire roasted peeled and chopped
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
- In a large saucepan melt butter
- Stir in Flour and Garlic Powder
- Add Milk all at once
- Cook stirring constantly over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
- Slowly stir in cheese and cream cheese.
- Cook stirring constantly until smooth over low heat.
- Stir in Ham and coat completely.
- Stir in Green Chile and coat completely.
- Stir in Corn and coat completely.
- Transfer to a 10 inch cast iron skillet
- Bake at 350-400 degrees for till bubbly and GBD.
